Gwen has been at Peabody since 1994, first as a parent volunteer and then as an employee. She began working at Peabody full-time in 2000 in multiple capacities. Her full-time job is in the Special Education Department, as a Paraeducator II, for Santa Barbara Unified School District. Gwen's background is in early childhood education. She has worked in child care centers, and family child care homes, as well as owning her own family child care home for 7 years prior to working at Peabody. She is CPR/First Aid Certified and CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) trained.
